This gorgeous and elegant diamond engagement ring is crafted entirely from platinum and is set with a 0.65ct marquise cut diamond- E colour, VS1 clarity. This beautiful cut elongates the finger, while two trillion cut diamonds rest at each side, creating a larger and more impressive appearance to the head. The stones are sparkly, clean and bright, and makes a lovely alternative for an engagement ring.  The history behind the marquise cut dates back to eighteenth century France. King Luis XV ordered a diamond to be cut to resemble the lips of his lover, Marquise De Pompadour.
